On another sad note, Kaiser was in a rather serious incident and had to be put to sleep Emma and John are very upset, but we would like to thank them for giving this boy a loving and happy home, for the time he had left.

Been a busy old couple of weeks but a very rewarding one, Thanks to everyone for their suport, time and patience and most of all the new owners.

Skye is 1yr old on the 25 Feb 2012, she is liver and white and has recently been spayed, she is a normal GWP puppy pushing her luck at home and is running off free hunting for some time. She is good with other dogs, cats and people, is good with children but has not had much contact with them so older children would be better. She does know some commands and will recall when in sight, but once past the breaking point becomes rather deaf. She will need a home with breed experience and training as she definitely will need further training guidelines and boundaries.

Merlin is a 6yr old male who was saved from the pound, he has obviously been used for hunting as he holds a point well, his recall is very good and he automatically sits on return although his lead walking needs some work.  He is a very lively 6yr old, but very gentle and does not jump up and he is good with dogs, children and people but not with small animals. He could do with a home that will carry on with his shooting background. Merlin is currently in Ireland but we are hoping to find him a forever home in the UK.

Contact Una Russell for more details and you can see more photos on our Facebook page.

UPDATE: PANY HAS A NEW FAMILY AND WILL BE GOING STRAIGHT TO THEM FROM CYPRUS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENQUIRED ABOUT PANY AND DONATED TO HIS TRAVEL EXPENSES

This is Pany, a solid liver male born around Dec 2010, he is quite shy until he gets to know you and then loves all the attention you can give him. He is a very laid back boy when being handled, but does not like to be on his own. He is very intelligent and very keen to please and will make an excellent companion and pet but he looks like he would like to be a lap dog as well!

Pany is coming to the UK from a Rescue in Cyprus in Jan 2012 and all interested parties should contact our Rescue Coordinator Una Russell as soon as possible. Pany’s adoption fee is £200 which is to cover the passport and blood tests and donation to the Sirius Rescue in Cyprus where he is currently living.   A wonderful friend of GWP Club Rescue is paying for his flight over.

Let’s hope we can find this boy his forever home.
