The GWP Club held their 2012 Spring Pointing Test at Wispington, Lincs by kind permission of Rory Major

This is Purdey she is 8yrs old L/W GWP she is not spayed, but needs a new home due to the family status changing. She is a very active 8yr old loves to hunt and chase rabbits and moorhens, but sadly she is scared of fireworks so possibly gunshy but never tested.

She loves cuddles and very aware of peoples feelings good with people and other dogs and is very good with children. She has been diagnosed with a heart murmour, but this in no means slows her down or affects her health in any way. She is fully house trained, has no seperation issues, she lives in the house and tends to get free runs in the field. She pulls a bit on the lead and gets a little deaf like all GWPs when out of range, but in general a very good girl.

This is Prince a handsome and active liver and white one year old male.  Prince is fully intact and is great with people, kids and other dogs but cats are an absolute no.  He is a high energy dog who is used to three walks a days but his training will probably need some work.

Prince needs an active, preferably experienced, GWP owner who can help him realise his full potential!

UPDATE:  Tilly’s has now gone to a wonderful new forever home and has a new GWP brother as well.  Thank you to everyone who enquired about Tilly. 

This is Tilly a beautiful one year old solid liver female GWP x Vizsla.  She has no problems at all and is very good with people, kids, other dogs, horses and cats.  Her training level is good, and she is being rehomed entirely through no fault of her own as her owners new job is going to take her abroad for extensive periods of time.

Tilly is fully vaccinated, spayed, legally docked and is fully passported and this little girl will make some a fabulous companion.

Great news that our next Meet the Breed Day date has been arranged for 15th July at the Kennel Club buildings in Stoneleigh, Warks. Please keep the date free in your diary – we would love to see lots of GWP owners there with their dogs and hope to see lots of GWP rescue dogs too.

The day is always popular with lots of activities and displays and we hope to see lots of you there
